Happy Birthday Shirley Temple!

ABC's "Good Morning America"

LACER's Hollywood Stars at LeConte Middle School in Hollywood, California celebrate Shirley Temple's 80th Birthday!  [click here for video]

Last week, thirteen girls in LACER’s Hollywood Stars at LeConte M.S.  were invited to participate in Shirley Temple’s 80th Birthday celebration.  The special tribute for the film legend, former United Nations Diplomat and U.S. Ambassador will be aired on “Good Morning America” April 23, 2008.

Check your TV listings and set your TiVo’s and VCR’s to record “Good Morning America”.  Our wonderful theater girls sang “The Good Ship Lollipop”,  “Happy Birthday” and taped a special message to her – all with a few moments of rehearsal.  Hopefully, we will make it through the editing, as we are part of a very big group of young people from all over the U.S. celebrating Ms. Shirley Temple Black.
